On Monday, February 22, John Wright from the Truchas Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Rick Castell from the NM Game and Fish delivered over 200 eggs. Come and See Them!

Mr. Cordova's 8th grade Science classes are raising trout in the classroom. Trout in the Classroom (TIC) is an environmental education program in which students raise trout eggs from eggs to fry. In the process, students grow to undertand their ecosystem by raising trout from eggs to fry, monitoring tank water quality, and engaging in stream habitat study. It is wonderful means of fostering stewardship of students' local stream.
